will be many such things on the day of 14 December 2010 in Rome. Si parlerà soprattutto degli atti di violenza che hanno catalizzato l’attenzione di quasi tutti i media nazionali. Chi sono i violenti della manifestazione? Erano tutti infiltrati? Oppure no?
Soli come siamo sempre stati lasciati.
With us, to share our own discomfort, our own difficulties students were massacred by Gelmini, researchers, teachers, earthquakes Aquila, the precarious and even ordinary citizens who felt the need to share this day protest with us.
As the procession proceeded politely and cheerfully to the Terms, our satisfaction was growing more and more because we started to realize that the number of participants became impressive. Joined the parade more and more people. Others showed solidarity simply greeted us from the window.
Students talk to organizers of the 100,000 participants. I think it is a totally unrealistic figure. Keep in mind that when the procession finally came to head in Largo di Torre Argentina, the tail of the parade was still in Via Cavour! And many people joined the demonstration when they could, when they are unable to reach, many even when the event having already been removed along the Tiber, ie prior to reaching its dramatic climax.
A lot of people. A great tide and lucid criticism, which protested the future slowly slipping from his hands, day after day.
I have attended many events in recent years, but I do not remember anything like this.
What is left of all the hopes and disappointments of that immense multitude of working men and women who today has no place, no justice on major national newspapers and in the main news?
We were all violent?
We were all terrorists?
We were perhaps millions?
do not have children, mortgages, dreams, needs to be done?
Today I went to the nth meeting where we try desperately to defend the interests of a category that seems to slip away whenever we try to grasp it.
steps from Via del Corso and Montecitorio there was almost no trace of the guerrillas yesterday. Christmas shopping everywhere. But on the asphalt there were still signs of red smoke yesterday that bloodied the winter of our discontent.

Theatre Royal Riding School, via Verdi 9, Torino
(thanks for the hospitality the Teatro Stabile di Torino)
In our country, theater, and in general the the entertainment world, are going through a very difficult time.
The constant, gradual reduction of public support for culture, with the FUS
reduction and cuts to the budgets of local authorities, led to a dramatic point of no return: the system is collapsing, and thus is necessary - or rather inevitable - reverse course.
Second, just from these difficulties that lead to change, we believe useful to reflect on the identity of the Italian theater - or Italian opera houses - in a very delicate phase of transition.
With "password" as the "Risorgimento", while celebrating the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the choice of Turin as the venue of the meeting was almost forced, not least because this time the theatrical situation in Piedmont, with its lights and shadows, offers numerous insights.
In this edition we would like to give more space the presentation of Best Practices. We invite all those interested to submit their best practice to send before January 15, 2011 via email to info@ateatro.it a brief presentation, which will evaluate and possibly post on the site for inclusion in the day.
MODE 'REGISTRATION
Best Practices initiative of the theater is a free, independent and free. To participate, just register by sending an email to
